Congratulations on the decision to advance your skills and share your knowledge. There are a number of required steps in preparing fro this course. All of these steps must be completed in order to successfully become an Instructor Candidate. If any of this seems confusing, please reach out to me directly so that I can help you navigate the process. 

If you follow every step below, you will be prepared for the course.

5) Psychomotor Skills and Group Discussion Critique forms. Please review these prior to class. These are the criteria that I will use as I monitor each of you during the course. You will all have the chance to monitor each other using the same forms. I will provide these for you at the class, but want you to see these before the course. 

4) This section contains the power points for your lecture. 

Please review the content as you will be delivering this lecture during the Instructor course. 

If there is a group activity associated with your lecture, Please review the student workbook as well. 

2) Complete the Online Instructor Path Course.

The online modules have been purchased for you. This email is sent from the ENA and you must follow the link in the email to gain access. The form to the left will walk you through the process. 

  • Complete all  modules

    • Bring a copy of the Certificate of Completion.

7) TESTING SCENARIOS- I am not able to post these to my website as these are the actual testing scenarios we use in class. These will be provided for you at the course. I will act as a student during the scenario and some of you will act as the instructor. You will all evaluate me using the testing scenarios and will decide if I pass. 

6) For the Psychomotor Skills stations, you have each been assigned to act as the instructor during one of the case presentations. Please print and be familiar with your case scenario. Pay close attention to the instructor responses and the teaching items. 

3) This workbook contains all of the handouts that the students need for the course. Please print a copy as we will refer to these during each of the lectures.
